Conditions in UT Austin acceptance letter?!

Hello,
I am an international student accepted to Red Mccombs for the fall sem.
In my acceptance letter, there was this line
“Conditions: No conditions”
Does everybody get this?
What is this supposed to mean?
Sorry for the silly question but I was curious!

You will understand it if you applied to UK schools. They all offer conditional admissions.

So this means that I am accepted, irrespective of final year grades, as long as I pass?

Your grades will need to be strong as a final transcript is required of all UT students. When the put conditions it could be anything from a feeder course you need, to a visa, etc.

Oh. Thank you both for your answers!

You need a student visa to attend? Some times they will add remedial English or Math or whatever to be completed if they are not happy with your TOEFL scores or Math grades.

oh! I guess I was saved from that! :stuck_out_tongue:
Can a poor final year performance lead to an acceptance withdrawal?
Or maybe a withdrawal from Red Mccombs to a less competitive course?

Depends upon how poor. If you had As, some Bs will be fine but Ds will be bad.

@texaspg- thank you!
