AIGHT, i need facts people not opinions…
what are the causes, of admissions revoke, though rare and having met the graduation requirements?
please be specific…

hmm ok… in other words, how significant would a drop of a senior GPA be to cause admissions revoke??

ok…well i guess no one knows the truth

Honestly, probably all you’ll be able to get are opinions, since none of us work in admissions. However, it is very hard to get your admissions revoked. Certainly, they’ll think twice if you get arrested for dealing drugs outside of an elementary school, and just criminal activity in general. As far as grades go, if you finish your senior year with a 2.0 and up, you’re most likely going to be fine. If you drop below that, both for the year or just at the end, it might be cause for concern. I’m not the final authority on this though, so hopefully someone else can chime in.

Why not call the admissions office and ask them. If you are afraid they will know who you are, borrow a friend’s phone who is not going to UMCP.

I would assume that if you have an F on your final transcript even in a class that is not needed to graduate(i.e. teen living), you are putting yourself in a very dangerous position. They can revoke anyone they want, it is rare. They understand senioritis, but there is a difference from senioritis and throwing in the towel. Many colleges know and expect that even the 4.0 hs sr will most likely drop down to a 3.5 freshman. Their fear becomes when they accepted the last student (not as in number, but the cut off for lowest gpa) and they prove before they even step foot on campus that they have academic issues. Again as aardvark stated we don’t know, we are all guessing.

you have to really try to get an F i mean its the end of the year pullin off C’s and low B’s really aint that hard lol if you those then youll be fine…

im in a mess myself…im done with highschool now…but i have 2 Bs in AP classes and 2 Cs in regular and 1 D in an honors class…will i be revoked from miami university?..it doesn’t say i have to keep a successful rate of completion ( Cs) to stay or anything like some colleges say after u get accepted…idk if that 1 D will get me revoked…its the only 1 i’ve ever had

Call them. I was nervous about getting an F senior yr, so I called admissions anonymously and was like, can you revoke my admission for an F. And they flat out said, no, they would not revoke my admission, and they said “just graduate.”

Now, I ended up with a B-average, so I clearly wasn’t close to failing out or anything…however if you are…that could be bad. One F though, or overall B/C grades, is probably not gonna hurt you. UMD in no way even checked up on my senior yr grades…I never submitted them and they never asked.
