Conerning Math Placement/Courses

Hi,

I’m currently an UCD student. I was wondering if I can take a course that’s equivalent to the Math16A course at UCDavis at a junior college and still be able to get credit for it. I did not pass the UCDavis Mathematics Placement Exam so I can not take Math16A; however, I can take Math12. Will I have to take Math12 over again in Davis in order to meet the pre-req, or will the units from the junior college be enough so that I can take Math16B the following quater? Thanks

Most likely the other campus will have you take a placement exam as well. If you do place into a calculus level course and the course is UC transferable, please check [Welcome to ASSIST](http://assist.org), then we will be able to give you UC transferable units. You would need to check with your academic advisers to determine if they can use these units to satisfy your graduation requirements.
