Conference paper vs. journal article for research experience.

I’m assuming coauthorship on journal articles holds more weight in graduate adcoms. Is it even worth putting down you have coauthorship on conference articles, when you weren’t the one presenting at the conference?

I’m second author on 2 papers that have been accepted for a conference next year, but I won’t be presenting them. Should I still mention these?

Yes, these articles should be included in your CV, particularly if you don’t have anything else in the published materials section.

Actually, it really depends on your field. For example, in Computer Science, conference papers are much more prestigious than journal papers.
