Confirmation gift ideas

Need a gift for a confirmant and thought a card with cash would be ok…but then DH got me thinking. Is that tacky? I’m sure he has all the rosaries and bibles he needs, so religious gifts are not what I am leaning towards. Anything else that might be less “tacky”? In my book, cash is always good, especially for hard to shop for teen boys.

Cash or gift cards are always welcome.

A compass is filled with symbolism. It serves as a reminder that your faith serves as your inner compass. Fun gift, but there may be an app taking the place of a real compass.

at that age, kids appreciate cash. Yes, most Catholic confirmants already have enough rosaries, etc. however, my sister recently gave us all rosaries blessed by Pope Francis, which mean a lot to us.

but if you give some kind of religious memento, enclosing some money, too, will be appreciated.

If you can find something interesting about the saint that is their confirmation name, enclose that as well.

Cash is fine. I literally have over a dozen rosaries from my confirmation. Confirmed kids are up to their ears in religious stuff.

My brother bought my kids savings bonds.

Thanks everyone. Cash was well received. :-)
