<p>So if America wants to go after dictators America will have to fight 40 wars. America doesn’t care that Saddam gassed his people Iraq gave Saddam those weapons in the 80’s. If America wanted to stop brutal governments why do that then?</p>
<p>Because at that time Iraq was a necessary, though undesirable, ally to ensure American interests. As you said, we can’t fight every front. Bush chose Iraq, because Sadaam was a monster. Fighting evil is a never-ending battle, and you just have to move from front to front fighting all out to keep it at bay. People have tried peace and it simply leads to being attacked with out pants down (9/11). I do not laud war, but peace is an ideology.</p>
