I am currently a senior in high school. It’s pretty stressful because I can be so clueless on this college admission stuff.
I want to pursue a career that deals with art direction/creative direction/design.
My questions:
- Would it be ok to major in something like graphic design or should I try mainly to focus on finding schools with commercial arts or advertising design?
- One school I applied to is SCAD. I’m a little skeptical about attending here. I only plan on starting at SCAD. I would love to transfer to a good school but I heard SCAD is not NASAD accredited and I’m worried that other colleges would not accept my transfer credits? Anyone have any knowledge regarding that?
