Hi, I’m taking the ACT with writing. I also signed up for SAT II tests, but I’m worried that my scores will be very low (high 600s). For more selective schools (HYPSM), do I need to send in all of my SAT II scores?
I believe that only Georgetown requires that ALL scores be sent. Keep prepping for SAT II, but you can take them again (are you a Junior?)
yes, I’m a junior. I just failed the Chinese SAT II haha
The idea time for math 2 is right after you take pre-calc; however, my son didn’t take his subject tests till this October and he’s a senior. You have time to improve those scores. Most schools recommending or requiring the subject tests do NOT tell you which ones to send in nor do they require all, even if they want to see all SAT’s or ACT’s. G-Town still requires three (actually, they have changed their wording to “strongly recommends” or something like that) and still requires that you send in ALL tests taken: SAT, ACT, and subject tests.
@kanagawa - also, a bunch of schools, including Ivy’s, have dropped the essay requirement from ACT/SAT. Check with your schools of interest and keep in mind that this time next year more schools might drop it.
