Confused in choosing CCs

Hi everyone , my name’s Matthew , I’m 17 yrs old , Indonesian.

I’m planning to go to a US community colleges and then transfer to a high rated university.

I consider going to seattle or california due some factors, which is :
seattle => a lot of indonesian , so it’ll help me to adapt easier
=> a very silent town , which is very helpful for studying

california (either LA/SF) => a lot of good univ there (i heard that same states ccs will provide you higher transfer rate… is it right?)
=> nearer to my hometown…

I’m planning to take ‘Actuarial Science’ or ‘Business’ as my major.
and I also like being involved in some student organizations such as student council.

So , my question is :

 1. What universities which is excel in ‘Actuarial Science’ or ‘Business’ major, also has a high acceptance rate for international students?

2)Would you please kindly state your opinion and suggestion about which community college fits the most for me (considering the transfer rate to the universities which excel in my chosen major and my hobby to be involved in some organizations such as student council)

suggestion and opinion are highly appreciated .
Thanks a lot for everyone who read this…

PS* -> I’m sorry for my broken English. haha =P

The Seattle CC System has three campuses (North, Central, South). In addition, there are several CCs just a little further south (Green River, Highline) and just a little further north (Shoreline, Cascadia, Edmonds). So, there are a lot of choices. The Seattle Central campus is probably the most diverse in terms of International students. If you do well, you can transfer to the U of Washington, which has strong business programs.
