CONFUSED

Okay, so I have gotten a 30 on the past 3 ACTs that I’ve taken. (the last one was free for all seniors so I said “why not”)

I don’t know which to send, though. I also have an old 28 that I can use to superscore to a 31 for some of my colleges. So I have these

April 2015: 28 (E28 M25 R32S26)
April 2016: 30 (E36 M21 R34 S28)
September 2016: 30 (E35 M24 R33 S28) WRITING: 7
October 2016: 30 (E36 M23 R34 S26)

So, If I combine the two Aprils I get a 30.75 which becomes a 31 for superscoring colleges. My dilemma is if I should send non-superscoring colleges my April 2016 that has my low math score or my September 2016 that has my low writing score (which, by the way, seems very odd considering how good I am at writing in just about every other area)

Would colleges be more alarmed by the April or by the September?

I would go for both the September and October tests. There have been a lot of issues with the essay and colleges don’t weight it as heavenly as the other sections, at least probably not for this admissions cycle. 7 isn’t terrible. All they want to see is that you are a competent writer.
