<p>The summer melt figures are in and indeed, contrary to early reports, Amherst apparently went to their waitlist for ~48 applicants, rounding their acceptance rate to 14% (compared to 12.8 last year.)*</p>
<p>Other highlights include a record number of students of students color (45%) as well as students receiving Pell Grants (23%).</p>
