Congressional Award Gold??

Surprisingly I havent seen many Cong. award holders this year in CC. Does anyone know how much value the adcom officer will put on Gold Congressional award?
My mother may have seen one list of ECs that lists all the ECs in an order of importance from college adcom view point. she doest remmeber if Cong award was on that list.
Can anyone point me to the list possibly?
Wanted to run by the CC members.

There isn’t a prioritization of that sort at any of the top schools, and I doubt at any school - other than that athletes have the strongest ‘hook’ of anyone at all, and of course of any EC.

Every school will of course want to admit some dancers, some artists, some singers, some instrument players of various sorts, some actors, some technical theater etc, but there is no rank ordering between them in order of importance…

Other than awards such as Intel, I doubt one mention will change the outcome of your application. I think that it’s better to have a few minor awards in areas that you show passion for than one award in a relatively random subject. That’s the problem with a lot of applicants. For example, some do math competitions and win awards but show little focus in math. That doesn’t say much about the applicants, except that they care about reaping the benefits. With that said, I’d say you have a relatively strong award, and if you can, build your application around it. Don’t just throw it in there because of prestige!
