Conn College vs Gettysburg for International Relations or Global Studies

Hello! I was just trying to refine my list of colleges and I came across a little snafu. I was wondering if I should keep Connecticut college or Gettysburg college on my list. I definitely want an academic environment, don’t mind a little bit of a party scene. I love a nice campus, close connections to professors and access to internships. I’m interested in major in INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS or GLOBAL STUDIES. I’m not sure which one is better for me.

Also, if I wanted to keep definitely CONN COLLEGE and get rid of one school should it be FRANKLIN AND MARSHALL or GETTYSBURG?

Thanks!

If you need more info just ask me

You’re a freshman, right? Why do you need to refine your list right now? If you haven’t already, I would first go visit a variety of schools – the particular schools don’t matter, but visit small/medium/large and rural/urban/small town – to pinpoint what you like. At this point your list can be long.

If you’re a first year, agreed - you need no list and what you think your list is now won’t be in three years.

You’re setting yourself up for way too much stress.

But when the time comes, you have 20 common app spots - and many people use them all.

You’re a 9th grader??

That’s easy. Take all of them off the list, focus on having the best high school experience possible, and revisit the question of a college list in two years.
