D got in with 1911 scholarship for 22k. Instead of branching our EFC with the $75k cost with a grant though, they are only using the scholarship. I thought D would get 15k in grants and some merit. Not going into 120k in debt for undergrad

She’s waiting on a few more. We don’t qualify for Financial Aid, so she cast a wide net to see what type of merit she’d get. She’s also a finalist for a full ride scholarship from a local foundation that would essentially pay for any school in Colorado and we should hear from that in the next day or two

Did everyone get accepted lol I got waitlisted

DD accepted Dean’s Scholarship.

@luca2fish No, you’re not. I read on another thread a perfectly acceptable (more than acceptable) guy was wait listed at Conn. This admissions process is making little sense to me. You are not alone.

My son was accepted and I’m wondering if it’s because he is going for computer science and maybe not a lot of people apply for that major. You never know their criteria.

I was accepted with a huge merit scholarship! So grateful!

Has anyone heard any news from the waitlist?

@luca2fish I received an email on may 5 saying that they are unable to accept me off the waitlist.
Here’s the email:
Thank you for remaining on our Wait List for admission to the Class of 2024. I appreciate your patience and your continued interest in the College. Unfortunately, we will no longer be able to consider you for admission from our Wait List.

I recognize that this may come as disappointing news. Best wishes as you pursue your post-secondary plans.
