Does Duke have good connections to companies in NY, NJ, CA, MA, etc. for job opportunities? How does it compare to other elite schools vis-a-vis placement

Aren’t vis-a-vis overhead markers? I doubt they have very good connections… They probably know a few good dry erase markers though.

kidding.

lol…I think vis-a-vis is French for “with respect to”

ah yes… that is the secondary translation…

Our Vis-a-Vis go in the dry-erase trays at the bottom of the board.

As for jobs and placement and connections - yes good, see <a href=“Duke Student Affairs”>Duke Student Affairs; for people to talk to about getting more info on it.

hahahaha i love it.

connections are wonderful up north. a lot of dukies come from the north, and a lot more move up north to work after graduation. according to the parents, the duke alumni clubs in nyc and boston and such are thriving organizations… no one i’ve spoken to has felt that they haven’t had good job placement outside of the south-- everyone’s been very impressed.
