considering Columbia....

<p>Columbia University is now attracting me cuz
I like their campus and it is located in Manhattan!!!
I’m livin’ in Indiana and its totally boring state --;;;;;
so… I’m considering Columbia;;;;even though my scores are comparatively
not good;;;;
I have so many questions about applying ivies;;;;
since I really dont know how to apply colleges ( unfortunately my school
counselors doing suck )
I took 3 SAT IIs (and they are not that good;;; 700 800 730)
and I’m gonna take SAT I and ACT in this fall;;;;;;
I have fatal disadvantage;;; I’m foreign student;;; I’ve been here about 3 years;;;
so… It’s really hard to catch up things with foreign language;;;
that’s why I postponed my SAT I tests till fall even though I knew that this decision is hazardous;;;;
these are my questions!!!</p>

<li><p>when is the best month to apply college? ( I heard that It’s better to send application earlier; is there any reasons for this comment?)</p></li>
<li><p>What do you guys think that which ones are the most important point for getting acceptance from ivies? ( like recommendations, SAT scores, SAT II scores, ECs…)</p></li>
<li><p>I’m always doing my best on studying but since I’m not good test taker, I always get little bit lower scores that I expected;;; but I believe that college administrators do not only cares about student’s perfect scores but also their dilligence or characters;;;; how can I prove it through application forms?</p></li>
<li><p>Is it expensive to live in New York?? I heard that Columbia University is one of the top expensive tuition over states;;; I’m kinda worry about that cuz my parents are not that wealthy;;;; Does columbia offer lots of financial aids for students???</p></li>
<li><p>I only took 1 AP in my Junior year and I’m going to take 4 APs in this senior year;;; Do you guys think I need to take all of 4 APs or concentrate on my application forms in my senior year???</p></li>
</ol>

<p>I will expect your replies! thanks!</p>
