Consolidated book suggestions for AP

Ken Wedding has an updated book that looks pretty good.

anyone self-studied macro/micro last year? i heard it’s pretty easy!

For calc a lot of people at my school also like PR.

There is an updated Comparative Government book by Ethel Wood.

good find… a little pricey.

How long ago did u take these exams?

Which ap books would you guys highly recommend for ap bio & world?

Bio: Cliffs
World: PR

so is Kaplan, Peterson’s, or Princeton Review better for AB Calc? Does it matter that I am used to the PR format?

I am using PR for Econ and Eng Lit and Cliffs for Biology.

PR definitely

PR for eco

Rea for LIT

Cliffs for Bio

Is there any book more organized and reader friendly than Cliffs Bio?

I have never heard someone suggest anything other than Cliffs AP Biology.

I accidentally bought the regular Cliffs Biology (not AP)…resold that online pretty quickly! haha

I think I am gonna go with PR Calc.

how is PR for psychology (self-study)?

I have heard PR is the best for psych. Easy easy exam.

ok thanks =)

Barrons is way better than Cliffs for Bio. I recommend it.

Bio: Barrons (beats Cliffs anytime  )

Stats: Barrons

Euro: PR for cramming, PR+MEH for full review.

That’s the first time I’ve heard that…Bio already has a ton of information for me to study, I would think I should stay away from the overpreparation of Barrons…

Go look at the ratings at amazon. Barrons is way more organized and elaborate than Cliffs. It’ll ensure you a 5, while I am not so sure about that for Cliffs. Cliffs has like a million sun-headings, and its simply inadequate for preparation for the exam.

I’m taking Calc BC, both Phys C and Chem,
So, I guess its best to buy PR for all three, and 5 to 5 for phys C, and additional Barrons to supplement them?

PR for Physics C, IMO.
