What’s a good one for Macroecon?

I don’t know if these books will rise up to their name, but its worth the shot…

AP Biology-Princeton Review
AP Chemistry: Princeton Review ( I also have a pretty good Tesxtbook to supplement it)
AP Calculus BC: Princeton Review ( should I get Peterson’s too?, idk if one is enough)
AP Art History: Annotated Mona Lisa-(Good choice?)
AP Statistics: Barrons
AP Physics C: Mechanics- Princeton Reivew (is this book a good choice to get at least a 4? idk if I still going to take this one, it is really hard for me)
AP Comparative Gov’t: I have no clue what to get for this one, I need a book that can help me get a 5
AP Human Geography: Barrons, but are there other better prep books out there?

I 'm not really stressing over: AP art, ap stats, ap comp gov, or ap human geo
but I need a 4 or a 5 (my ultimate dream:)))) on calc, chem, bio and physics( still debating on it) so any suggestions will be wonderful. If you can suggest any other better book than the one I have please feel free to mention it!!! I want to reduce my total workload in college by taking these. Thanks so much!!!

My Books
AP Chem-PR I feel the reviews are to short so won’t work for self studying unless you have a good textbook to supplement it(i recommand Chemisty by Raymond Chang)
AP US - PR, doesn’t go to in depth in the important terms
AP Computer Science-Barrons great review
AP Macro/Mirco- 5 steps to a 5(self-studying) generally the info is well presented. Can i get a 5 just by reading this?

So for Macro & Micro, half of the people seem to say 5 Steps to a 5 is good, and the other half say PR is good too. Which one is better? Or should I get both and study from both of them?

ya you should read both, im just gonna check the PR from my local library

@dthomas518: use Ethel Wood’s study guide for CompGov

I’m using Barron’s for Macroecon. Will that be enough for me to get at least a 4?

@ryanxing

personally I would recommend 5 steps to a 5 for AP Macroeconomic, its well in depth, covers the necessary material covered on the exam and give you a organized study plan to manage you time before the test. I got a 5 using this book. However, each person is different and if you feel comfortable using barrons go for it!!!

Thanks for the suggestion for AP comp gov, i read the reviews on Amazon and they surprised me totally! i’m going with your choice.

Need book on Physics C

Best books for AP World
AP Language
AP Environmental (self study)

My mother (who is super biased against pr for some reason) went to B&N with me and we ended up buying ALL barron’s prep books for sat IIs and APs.

But i just found this thread and it seems that the consensus is that pr>barron’s for ap chem
is it worth it going back and returning barron’s for a princeton review ap chem book? or should i just stick with barron’s

I regret getting Barron’s AP Chem. It’s loaded with errors.

like information errors?
my dad actually told me that if i finished the ap chem book he would buy pr for me next because he doesn’t mind shelling out a bunch of money for study aides but i doubt that i’ll finish the ap barrons chem book; i studied for ap gov and math the day before last year after buying the books 3 months prior haha.

so i guess i might as well just convince my parents to return it.

PR or Barron’s for AP Physics C? I’m looking for multiple choice questions that mirror the real one most accurately, because all the info I need is pretty much in the textbook.

how is 5 steps for a 5 for chem and apush? i used it for world history and it was amazing ( i got a 5) i don’t don’t see why anyone likes it, any suggestions?

*small mistake, i meant 5 steps TO a 5

5 steps to a 5 is one of the worst for Chem. PR is usually recommended, and it did help me do well on the exam.

I’m taking 5 AP exams but I’m not sure if this are the right test prep books

APUSH / AMSCO ( I already bought it)
AP English language and composition / Cliffs ( I already bought it)
APES / Barrons ( I already bought it)
AP Spanish ( I’ll probably get a 5 without studying)

I really want to get a 5 on the exams so what other prep books would be an additional help

^ sorry for the spelling errors . I’m typing from my itouch and it is 4 ap exams not 5

thanks, i decided to get PR for chem and 5 steps for APUSH

Which is the best for English Lit? (most accurate to test)
