<p>1000 replies. :)</p>
<p>What are my best choices next year for physics B, stat, APUSH, Calc AB? I reckon most of my teachers will be good enough that i won’t have to teach myself everything…It’d be nice if i could use them to help prepare for tests as well like cliffs for bio.</p>
<p>How about AP Comp Sci? Barrons?</p>
<p>To Tesseracts and my coal win: Collegeboard has stated that ap human geo will change next year with new things added. i would wait for these although the ones taken out were not even slightly mentioned and the ones being added are <em>key word=mostly</em> in it. be sure to remember application of EVERY term and examples</p>
<p>Is PR enough for Psych self-study?</p>
<p>What are the best self-studying prep books for:
Comp Sci
Stat (however my friend said the textbook is enough)
Enviro
Human Geo
Calc AB/BC (AB class, BC self)</p>
<p>AP USH - AMSCO or REA CRASH COURSE(only if your low on study time)
COMP SCI- 2010 Barrons AP Computer Science
AP Calc AB/BC - Princeton or Be Prepared for the AP Calculus Exam</p>
<p>For APUSH practice exams:</p>
<p>[AP</a> US History | AP Exam Review Course](<a href=“http://www.apexamreview.com/]AP”>http://www.apexamreview.com/)</p>
<p>by far the best I’ve found, nothing compares.</p>
<p>My Suggestions (based on personal experience, recommendation, and this thread):</p>
<p>AP Biology - CliffsAP, Princeton Review, 5 Steps to a 5
AP Calculus AB - Princeton Review, Be Prepared for the AP Calculus Exam
AP Calculus BC - Princeton Review, Be Prepared for the AP Calculus Exam
AP Chemistry - Princeton Review, Barron’s
AP English Language - CliffsAP
AP English Literature - CliffsAP
AP European History - Modern European History, Princeton Review
AP Human Geography - Barron’s
AP Latin - Vergil’s Aeneid (Barbara Weiden Boyd), The Aeneid of Vergil (Translation, Allen Mandelbaum), REA, A Vergil Workbook
AP Physics B - Princeton Review, 5 Steps to a 5
AP Physics C - Princeton Review
AP Psychology - Barron’s
AP Statistics - Barron’s, Princeton Review
AP US History - AMSCO, REA: Crash Course</p>
<p>Does anyone have other suggestions for Physics C? Also need a book/books for Spanish Literature.</p>
<p>What about for AP Spanish Language and World History?</p>
<p>need some suggestions, open to any comments.</p>
<p>Stat- Barrons
USH= ???
Econ(micro and macro?)= ???
Psych- Barrons
Environmental(self study)= ???
Comp gov(self study)= ???</p>
<p>Stat - You could use cliffs as well
USH - don’t know, probably text book
Econ - In approximate order of decreasing usefulness 5 steps, Kaplan, Princeton, Barron’s… (pick any two to use)
Psych - don’t know
Env- I heard barron’s
CompGov - I heard Ethel Woods</p>
<p>I’m looking at the Amsco APUSH book, but it seems to be published in 2003, is it still good regardless?</p>
<p>^ There is a 2010 revision.</p>
<p>^^^^
Stat - REA
USH - PR
Econ - 5 to a 5</p>
<p>@amimike - The AMSCO 2010 revision is incredible. I highly recommend it.</p>
<p>@dylandlima - I can almost promise that PR is the best for WHAP.</p>
<p>Here’s what I used this year:</p>
<p>AP Calc AB - PR
AP Music Theory - Tonal Harmony textbook + Barrons later on
AP French - Barrons
AP Comp Gov - Ethel Woods
AP Eng. Lit - Sparknote around 75% of the books you read this year and master them
AP Human Geo - PR</p>
<p>How’s CliffsAP for Macro and Micro as a supplement?</p>
<p>suggestions?
AP Chem (have a 2004 edition of cliffnotes..is that enough?)
AP Calc AB (have a 2004 PR edition for calc AB and BC already. is that enough?)
AP Lang
AP Spanish
AP Human (self-study; already have Barrons '08. do you suggest any textbooks…i’d rather not, but is it necessary?)</p>
<p>Does anybody have suggestions for the following AP tests?
-AP Chemistry
-AP U.S. History
-AP English Lang. & Comp.
-AP Spanish Lang.
AND Self studying for:
-AP World History
-AP European History</p>
<p>The ones I’m most worried about are the AP Spanish and AP U.S. History…oh and what flashcards for APUSH?</p>
<p>I’d prefer responses from people who took the test in the last two years or so, but any suggestions would be much appreciated. THANKS!</p>
<p>Taking Ap Bio, Ap Eng Lang, and AP Calculus BC for my junior year. I’m trying to self study ap environmental science, ap econ, and ap human geography. Which aids are good for self study for these 3 aps? Trying to get 5s on them</p>
