And Barron’s for most; try Princeton Review for English and APES and maybe mix and use multiples..can’t got wrong with Barron’s though
Does anyone have suggestions for AP Latin review books? Also, is the AMSCO 2010 version drastically different from the 2015 version? Will the 2015 one have practice questions more relevant to the AP test? Thanks.
Any suggestions for Physics 1 since the exam is brand new?
@skieurope Will Strickland still be good for the upcoming changes? I’m starting Art History fall 2015.
@HaableVaurimn I’ve never contended that Strickland alone is good enough. I still think that it will be good as a supplement, however.
Which books should I use for AP Calculus AB and AP Environmental Science? Thank you in advance!
For chem, use Princeton review. I used it for this year’s exam and was only unsure about 3-4 multiple choice. The frq’s also helped in PR, as I only think I missed 5-6 points on the frq portion of the ap exam. Also, watch Bozeman science.
@PhilipL for AP Environmental Science I recommend you get the Princeton review and the 5 steps to a 5 500 multiple choice questions.
Ethel Wood for AP Human is the Best! I have both Barrons and have studied through Ethel Wood, Ethel Wood is much better.
My Recomendations:
APUSH: Crash Course
AP WORLD: Crash Course
AP English Language: CLiffnotes
AP PSCYH: Barrons
What are the best books for:
AP EUROPEAN HISTORY (i heard they are updating the exam)
AP ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE:
AP ENGLISH LIT
AP MACROECONOMICS
AP US GOV’T?
Question: I know some test prep books sell AP Calculus AB and BC separately; do we need to buy both or can we just buy one of them? If I can buy one.. which one do you recommend? (probably BC?)
Sorry if I repeated a questions.. too many comments
Got 5’s on Bio and Euro…for Bio, I read Barron’s/Cliffsnotes, preferred Barron’s because it was more up-to-date and had better diagrams. Euro, don’t know much about the new format, but I used PR and crash course. I have a feeling that they might not be great for the new format.
Taking 5 APs next year. As companions to the course (not just for the exams), what do you guys recommend for:
AP US Gov’t?
AP Chem?
AP Stat?
@zenith99 I found these books helpful.
AP Gov- REA Crash Course
AP Chemistry- Princeton Review
AP Stats- Princeton Review
Can anybody recommend books for the 2016 exam in AP Bio, AP English Lit, AP US Gov, and AP Stats?
@JamieH For Bio, I will be using Barron’s and PR.
Can anyone recommend books for AP Physics 1 and AP Physics 2?
@zenith99 I don’t know on what to choose. I’m relying on my Campbell’s Biology Prep Book for the nee AP Bio exam. Also, can anyone recommend what books are good for AP Psych? Do you need a textbook for AP Psych or would a review book suffice.
Any recommendations for these AP classes?
AP Lit
AP Macro/Micro Econ
AP Stats
AP Gov
AP Calc AB
AP Spanish Lang
My recommendations:
AP Chemistry: PR or Crash Course (if cramming)
AP Physics C: PR
Recommendations for ap euro prep books for the new test format?
@holyground I used Princeton Review for Macro and Gov.
Any reccomendations for APUSH, Calc BC, APES, or Lang?
I bought AMSCO and the Barrons flashcards for APUSH and PR and Barrons for calc
