<p>There’s a “Consolidated Suggestions for AP” thread pairing the AP Subjects with their best Prep Books.</p>

<p>How about one for the SAT IIs?</p>

<p>I know far too little about them to contribute anything, but I just thought I’d put the idea out there.</p>

<p>I guess I will get this started…</p>

<p>Took: Chem SAT II
Used: Barron’s, PR to supplement…Sparknotes practice test.</p>

<p>AHHA this is going to be like a page but I’m bored and feel like listing out what I did in some weird anal retentive order including little star (*) things… here goes </p>

<p>Recommendations/What I did:
*I would recommend beginning to review early.
*Take a diagnostic, timed, SAT practice test. HAVE SOMEONE ELSE GRADE IT. I ALWAYS considered my stupid mistakes right on practice tests which artificially inflated my scores…such a bad idea lol
*Start by learning things you never covered in class and make flashcards/quick review sheets reguarding these topics.
*Go through the rest of the Barron’s book and take notes on things you think you’ll forget/very important material.
*Make flashcards for vocab/concepts you are having difficulty remembering.
*Take an untimed practice test; on questions you don’t know go back and review the material. Check answers you are unsure of.
*Take a lot of practice tests in actual SAT conditions. Have someone else grade it and time it for you.
*Don’t cram the night before. I reviewed sparknotes online because it gives brief overviews of things. I looked at PR the nights following up to the test.
*GO TO BED EARLY. Not too early, but I went to bed at 11:30 and couldn’t sleep at all and woke up at 5. URGH so obnoxious.
*review your flashcards and stuff in the car…</p>

Math IIC I used all and I liked the barrons one the best</p>
