Contemplating Northeast RV vacation -tips?

Inspired by seeing We’re The Millers on HBO, we are contemplating renting an RV and driving from the Boston area to Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, or the Adirondacks (or maybe Chesapeake or outer banks). Any advice? It would be mom (me), dad, and our two boys, ages 17 and 20. Everyone is intrigued by this possibility. Any thoughts on this sort of vacation? We like adventure! We have travelled a lot in the US and internationally.

I think you should come to New Hampshire - just sayin’. :))

We did Nova Scotia and New Brunswick a couple of summers ago with our 3 boys, then aged 19-26. We like the outdoor adventure type touring, too. Check out the Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick and Hopewell Rocks for starters. Our kids went to camp in the Adirondacks, which are lovely but pretty isolated. Good for fishing and camping, I think.

I have been wanting to see the Bay of Fundy since forever! It is definitely on the list.

The reversing waterfall might be worth a visit

Spend the money on the ferry’s it will save a lot of driving time.
