My son is in high school and he is about to begin applying to music programs in California and we would appreciate any advice. He is not classically trained, nor does he have stellar grades and SAT scores. He is, however, passionate about music and quite talented. His interest lies more in contemporary music and composition, and his instruments are guitar and piano. Any thoughts?
For music, auditions are only part of the puzzle at most schools. What are his stats and other interests? and what’s your budget?
