Controversial essay- stand out

<p>Hey,</p>

<p>It would be very helpful if you would give me some input on my admissions essay topics. I want to be unique, so they may be controversial, any help is appreciated.
Topics:

  1. Geting kicked out of camp after 9 years for running a camp wide grilled cheese business.(I learned a lot and used the profit to Start my international nonprofit (chalenges/ successes).
  2. Lessons I’ve learned from my nanny
  3. How i channelled my argumentative and critical atitude into my passion for debating, which has improved my personal relationships and won me many awards
  4. Spending a summer in spain on a spanish immersion program
  5. Running for Headboy against 11 other candidates, and loosing after the school wide election results were to close and the decision went to the bureaucratic vice principal.( i could include my excellent speech)
  6. Traveling to Kenya and questioning the consequences of westernizing africa</p>

<li>let me guess your nanny is a different race and you accept her as a parent and she has taught you to not judge people etc… (having a nanny is going to cause them to roll their eyes) if I am right about your story line, it is old and tired and kind of make you look kind off like a… well you know.</li>

<li>same as number 3. rich kid going to kenya and then spinning standard issue liberal babble. yes, i know schools are lefty on a whole but, that spin is played out.</li>
