Conversion story risky topic?

Is writing about my conversion to Catholicism a risky topic? I am applying to Princeton, Dartmouth, Harvard, Notre Dame and Hillsdale. The main point of the essay is how in my journey to Catholicism I discovered that there is objective truth and I need to constantly search my beliefs for that truth. Do you think that there is too much risk for anti-Catholic bias that would influence my admittance decision? Otherwise, I have pretty strong SATs(2290), 4.0 GPA, 16 credits of college Calc and Enginnering Physics classes(4.0). EC’s good, National Merit

It could be very interesting, certainly. I think much of the anti-Catholic sentiment stems from the belief that Catholics are blindly following their (often seen to be corrupt) priests and the Pope. To cast your conversion to Catholicism as an intellectual, personal journey keeps that negative perception at bay.

That is exactly the approach written about in the essay. An intellectual journey, based on reading the Great Books and the writings of the Church Fathers. I approach my faith through study, not through koom-bai-yah emotions.
