Convienent Ways to Make Copies of School Forms?

I’m applying to multiple schools, so my professors need to send multiples of the College Official’s Report and the Instructor Evaluations. Both I and the instructor need to sign each form. Also, the college official form requires a college seal. Because I need to make copies, what can I do about this signing and sealing? (One of my professors will be going on sabbatical, so I will have minimal contact with her throughout next semester; I would thus appreciate a method which involves as little interchange as possible.) Further, am I allowed to make copies myself?

Additionally, since professors must send the letters themselves, may I still address the envelopes for them (by computer)? How do the colleges even know that my professor sends the letters himself? Do my professors have to do anything to the envelope to demonstrate that they personally sent the letter?

In short, please share your most efficient ways to copy and send school forms.

bump, I have same questions!

My recommendation would be for you to sign multiple copies of the COR and Instr. Evaluation forums. You then give these, along with envelopes made out to the various colleges to your school and instructors. Take them to the post office and have them weighed, and be generous with the postage, your instructors will likely add additional page(s) for your LOR. I would put your address as the return, so that if it is returned for some reason, it comes to you and you can deal with it.

One thing that instructors often do is sign their name over the seal of the envelope, to assure that no one has tampered with the letter.

Thank you. Doesn’t my professor then have to fill out the same evaluation multiple times though? Also, I’m assuming my signature doesn’t count (for the FERPA) if it is copied?
