Cool e-card from NU

Just got a really nice e-card from Division of Student Affairs. A nice welcome to NU. They really do go out of there way to make you feel welcome.

BTW-I got in ED and I am wishing all of you RDers good luck-hope there is only good news this weekend.

Yeah, that card was pretty neat. Did anyone get the handwritten post card a couple of weeks ago? That was also neat.

Does anyone think they are going to go to one of the “Pre-NSW” programs?

Yep-got a handwritten postcard a few weeks ago from a student in Medill (I’ll be in Communications)-very nice.

What’s pre-NSW?

Oh-I think I got it. New Student Week-right? What programs?

Primab, what major in communications?

Yeah, the online card was really cute. I loved the postcard though! It made my day. I don’t know yet if I want to go to any Pre-NSW programs. I guess I’ll wait and see what kinds of stuff they offer this year.

Primab, they offer a few programs for incoming freshman before New Student Week that you can apply to participate in. For example, I think last year there was a camping trip… But I don’t remember for sure.

Safia-I’ll be a Theater major.

Crypt-I somehow missed the info. on the pre-NSW progtrams (though I haven’t read all the info. yet). I’m auditioning for a play that will be on in August (rehearsals in July) so if I get in-won’t be able to anyway.

There hasn’t been much info released yet on pre-NSW programs. I think most of that stuff comes out in July or something.

I know this is off topic, but what play are you auditioning for? Good luck!!!

Thanks Crypt for the good wishes. Don’t want to name the play 'cuz I am trying to hold on to at least some anonymity-ya know what I mean…

Well the Pre-NSW programs are always the same. There are 3:
