Just got a really nice e-card from Division of Student Affairs. A nice welcome to NU. They really do go out of there way to make you feel welcome.

BTW-I got in ED and I am wishing all of you RDers good luck-hope there is only good news this weekend.

Yeah, the online card was really cute. I loved the postcard though! It made my day. I don’t know yet if I want to go to any Pre-NSW programs. I guess I’ll wait and see what kinds of stuff they offer this year.

Primab, they offer a few programs for incoming freshman before New Student Week that you can apply to participate in. For example, I think last year there was a camping trip… But I don’t remember for sure.

Crypt-I somehow missed the info. on the pre-NSW progtrams (though I haven’t read all the info. yet). I’m auditioning for a play that will be on in August (rehearsals in July) so if I get in-won’t be able to anyway.

Well the Pre-NSW programs are always the same. There are 3:

[CATalyst[/url]
A four-day leadership development program held in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, CATalyst provides first year students the tools, resources and strategies needed to become effective members and leaders of the Northwestern community.

[Project Wildcat](http://groups.northwestern.edu/pwild)
Project Wildcat is a week-long outdoor orientation program filled with backpacking, camping, and frolicking through the great outdoors with a small group of fellow freshmen and two trained NU-student counselors. Over 200 students have the opportunity to experience Project Wildcat.
