You know, when you come home and complain to your parent’s because their the only one who listens (lol) and they get so mad they do something about it.

Well, My mom isn’t the type to do this, because she has this (Don’t worry about it, ignore them, its over now, its not worth stressing over attitude/advice about everthing) but:

Senior year, Fall 05 a friend and I went to a clothing store (VERY POPULAR BRAND) in the mall, a classmate of ours that doesn’t like my friend for stupid reasons worked there. When we were walking through the store, I overheard the girl who doesn’t like my friend say “What she is doing in here?” and her co-worker exclaim "I don’t know but why is her friend in here, black people can’t afford __________(brand)) Honestly, It didn’t hit me till after I left the store that she said that. I was so shocked, I went into the store next door which is the same price just different quality clothing, better I think. And shopped there. When I got home, I told my mom what happened and she was shocked as well. I was almost in tears. The next day after work she went down personally to the store and told the manager about what happened. The manager couldn’t believe her (Her being african american herself), she told my mom to come in the next day and tell her who the girl was so she could get fired or disciplined. I never went back, I hardly even look at the store when I go to the mall. It’s never a brand or company I liked because of the things I have read about them not being minority friendly. I don’t know how true it is but I just never liked their clothes. That day my mom was like my hero. :-D
