I doubt anyone (besides maybe GTs) will be able to access Housing right now.
@Heli824 - I know right? And I think your icon is that of a pitcher plant, but I’m not completely sure. The cool thing is that CALS offers a class called Global Plant Biodiversity where students can study them in Patagonia, so hopefully if we all get in and sign up for it, we’ll definitely know our plant names then!
@CALSbound - You’re right, coriander seeds are the seeds and leaves are interchangeably called coriander, cilantro, or Chinese parsley! Awesome 3:-O
@puncherkid - It’s definitely possible, as I’ve read on previous threads that batches of decisions started rolling out around late April, although some people would randomly receive theirs earlier. And then decisions are released all the way until mid-June!
Have any of you guys been able to log into housing? I think that’s usually a really good sign (although not all accepted applicants will be able to log into their portals before they hear back from Cornell)
And for reference, this is the message I get when I try to access the portal:
@Coriander23 Yup! My icon is of a Nepenthes villosa from Gunung Tambuyukon. Im interested in highland Nepenthes. The main topic of my Cornell essay is how I want to explore the interior mountainous regions of New Guinea for undescribed Nepenthes species as well as work on the taxonomy of N. maxima in New Guinea. If I am accepted to Cornell I definitely want to take Global Plant Biodiversity, it sounds awesome!

I think we should just pretend that decisions won’t come out until May so that we can relax a little! Haha. If it makes you guys feel better about the wait, I know that credit evaluations are released along with decisions, so they could just be figuring out which ones of your classes will transfer over now

That is so annoying… most of my SUNY acceptance deadlines are close to the first of May. Not too sure what I should do if I don’t hear back by then.

Has anyone received any admissions decisions? Back when I first called the week after the deadline they said they still needed time to organize things and to give them until mid-April to do so. Then they’d send an email if anything was missing, and give a week since that email’s been sent out. I still haven’t sent them my midterm report.
@eyo777 if you haven’t sent them your Midterm Report yet, I wouldn’t expect a decision for at least a month. They won’t even touch your application until everything’s been received.
@MOHighschooler Have they touched anyone’s application yet though?
