@trnsfrstdnt

you probably will get accepted @BluLegacy

@Heli824 GT’s for AEM, or just GT’s in general? Today was a huge acceptance day, I haven’t heard one rejection yet…which means the next batch is not going to be so welcoming… :frowning:

Seems like all the non AEM acceptances were GT. Not sure about AEM. I wouldn’t worry though, I just called CALS admission and they said that they are just now starting to go over applications.

@trnsfrstdnt Here is why I don’t think so…I was missing Eng I & II, but I placed out of it due to AP scores. I also didn’t take any sciences yet which are in the recommended section. I’ve just been taking all my courses towards my degree in case I didn’t get in. I, however, did write a letter stating that I would complete the necessary courses during my summer semester.

With that being said, the courses I took so far during my first semester are as follows:

Principles of Marketing - A
Public Speaking - A
Living with Health - A
Intermediate Algebra A (Skipped Pre-Calc and went straight to Calc Honors)
Business Law - A
Global Environment of Business - A

I didn’t take any special courses like Calc II/III, Physics, Bio/Chem etc. so they may not look at me seriously…plus I don’t have any SAT scores to report unlike most of the people here…

It still says I can’t access my pin :frowning: PLEATHE DONT REJECT ME @CORNELL

unable to locate my pin*****

@YonceKnowles That’s a very good sign…that means you will NOT be getting your decision 4/21. And from what everyone is saying, that’s what you don’t want. You want to be as far away from 4/21 as possible. Unfortunately, I’m in the 4/21 category and I’m nervous and upset. I wish no one would’ve said anything.

Also, some of you need to shut the fuque up with the scaremongering

@BluLegacy OMG you don’t need to be nervous or upset, you have NO idea what’s going to happen. Keep ya chin up bud

@YonceKnowles any positive words for someone in my position? Lol…

Thank you, @YonceKnowles … like I checked Fall 2013 and Fall 2014 and both of them were 5/6 rejections for this week (dates between 4/21-4/26) for AEM. I am really trying to keep a positive spirit though…I really am.

@BluLegacy Listen to some Beyonce and eat some good Chinese food. What’s meant to happen WILL happen. If you’re meant to go to Cornell you’ll go there, and if not then who cares??? Your life is so much more than a school and judging by your grades (what is that, 6 courses…how the fuque do you even have all A’s?) you will work hard no matter where you go

Thank you @YonceKnowles, I feel much better knowing that…another thing for me too is that I can’t afford to go anywhere, no school gave me enough $ to cover the cost of tutition plus room & board, but the Ivies meet 100% of need so that was a really important factor for me as well. I’m going to put it all in God’s hands at this point.

@BluLegacy actually yesterday it said that my admission will be posted today at 10. but several hours later it changed. so check on Monday at around 5pm (EST) to see if your admission date got postponed! so don’t lose hope.

Do you think they changed your admissions because you looked ahead of time? @trnsfrstdnt

haha no. they probably just have it set as a default

I highly doubt the admissions committee is sitting there smirking saying, “Hey guys, he tried to access his decision–let’s change it to a rejection/make him wait another week.”
