@puncherkid Yes, but I don’t believe anyone attended Cornell form my institution last year. However, the previous year they took two students (one was a GT). So fingers crossed, I already have offers from BU, and binghamton so I’m pretty content with whatever happens at this point 
Much like the lottery college admissions has no rhyme or reason to it so there is no reason to be upset with an admission decision. Have you heard from anywhere yet?

@beachbum0130 not so great… well SAT 2050 (CR600 M 770 WR 680), which I took in 2010 (i believe); 4 SAT subjects all at 700s (1 language, Math2, Chemistry, World History); --> I wasn’t gonna send the SAT scores, but it was already on the system since I applied for Fall 2011. Basically, i took 2 years off due to serving in a foreign army. A few extracurricular activities; College 66 credits earned when this semester ends. currently 3.86 and my midterm report was all A’s
@transferboy92 Seriously, I think you have really a good shot, although it’s being too late to chance you
@NoMoreDenials out here in the california community colleges thats a pretty standard sequence to have for transfers - what’s really killer is the advanced calculus, that’s gonna look so good on an app. I think he/she has a good shot (well I certainly hope so anyway because my application is extremely similar, including working from 16)

if we’re from the west, we can view the decision 3 hours earlier than what cornell’s decision notification states right? ex) if they say we can check at 12am, we can check at 9pm, etc etc?

@transferboy92 Come on don’t be so pessimistic… My stats are so similar to yours, and at least I still keep some hopes that I’ll get in…
@puncherkid you are right! but i always try to think about the worst rather than best. this way, i can think about the next best alternative. although i applied for transfer, i have been planning about what i am going to do at current university. i might seem pessimistic, but i am really thankful that i was fortunate to have this opportunity.
