@Heli824 Congrats!!
@CALSBound Thanks!
@CALSBound Congrats.
If your transeval updated, when do you expect to get the official word? Are they emailing only on Tuesdays and Thursdays or have others received notification on other days?
@jmeltz94 @cawledgeobsessed I just called ILR admissions and the lady said that I should be hearing back within 2 weeks if not sooner. Not sure if this applies to everyone but I hope it helps!
I called AA&P and they gave me another generic answer as well and told me to expect a decision around mid-May.
So what if my trans-eval updated with major, but the apply yourself still shows no account?
If it says your name and your major then you got in. Congrats!
Thanks, you too!
Are we 100% sure on this one? I’d hate to have my hopes crushed.
Every single person on college confidential who has had their transeval update was accepted so I wouldn’t worry, plus it says “if you have any questions about the major you were accepted to…” on the transeval so don’t fret
Congrats, you guys! Hope I’m as lucky
transeval updated with my major!
Where to check my transeval?
transeval.cals.cornell.edu
Congratulations everyone! Mine is still blank.
@Heli824 - Hooray!! I knew you’d get in! Welcome to CALS
@Coriander23 Thanks! All of us plant and animal science people should meet up when classes start.
Wait… I’m SOOO confused. Did decisions OFFICIALLY come out yet? I got an email over a week ago that linked me to a rejection letter. Probably Cornell’s revenge for turning down their highest merit research scholarship a few years back as a frosh admit.
They tell their transfer applicants on a rolling basis, so there isn’t an “official” date.
Anyone accepted to Cornell will actually go to another college?
@MacchaBunny There’s a good chance I’ll turn down Cornell ILR for UVa McIntire. I’m instate in the latter meaning ~$32k/year vs ~65k/year (don’t qualify for FA). In most aspects I prefer Cornell (interdisciplinary/social science approach, diverse student population, international recognition, ivy network, and I see the school’s value appreciating with greater international competition) but I also value financial independence. ~50k of loans vs no debt out of undergrad for a world class program either way. Regardless of my decision, I’m vastly keen on ILR so I may pursue its graduate course in the future.
Have 2 weeks to think it over.
