oh, forgot to say where i was accepted to. arts and sciences! if anyone wants to know my stats ask, otherwise i don’t want to clog the feed!
Really hoping to hear back from Cornell soon. I have to make a decision before May 18…
My interview was only actually 5 minutes long because i think that he was asking about my ap scores and a slight downturn in my senior year grades. Most people get called to gauge their interest in ilr vs a business program so i think ur call was pretty standard, based on last year’s thread 15 minutes was also a standard amount of time. someone actually had gone through the previous thread and direct messaged me telling me that everyone who got an interview last year had gotten accepted. dont worry too much, i think youll be fine
hope this helps! @jms8116
so sad
didn’t get an interview, is that a bad sign then?
How long did it take everyone to get their financial aid info? That’s the big catch for me!
@AGrizzlyBear I’m wondering the same thing.
@jaygoodiez You should post your stats just so future applicants can see
Nothing for engineering majors.
@jtranxferman haha alright, just didn’t want to annoy anyone
Stats:
College: Emerson College
High School: #1 Public high school in the country at the time (magnet school for math, science and tech)
High School GPA: 4.0 W (my high school doesn’t show unweighted)
SATs: 2360 (R 800 W 790 M 770)

Extracurriculars: President of a Literary Magazine, copyeditor for another, graphic designer for a club for women in film, writer for a satirical newspaper/blog, member of a screenwriting club
Strengths: SATs/SAT IIs, professor recs (I think), college grades, maybe extracurriculars? Idk, reason for transferring
Weaknesses: definitely high school grades (I’m a humanities person who was stuck at an advanced tech school-- terrible fit; but still, not good), intro courses
i was accepted to arts and sciences this morning, got an email right beforehand telling me to change my pin/password
Weird situation: Got admitted, but on the condition that I complete Bio I, Bio II, and Calc II. I’d be eligible for Spring transfer.
I think I’m going to go to Penn or Dartmouth, though. Good luck to everyone still hearing back!
@cassat, that’s weird. I’m guessing it’s because you didn’t have all the prerequisites? Would you mind posting your stats? Congrats on your other acceptances!
Yep! Totally spaced on the pre-reqs. Thought I would’ve gotten rejected but…
Thanks!
Stats:

College GPA: 3.6
Mid-term GPA: 3.8
Extracurriculars: Graphic designer, financial sector intern during the year, many environmental clubs, feminist activism. Probably like 3-4 leadership positions.
Strengths: Reason for transfer, recs, ECs
Weaknesses: Essay (was good but my Cornell one had a few typos… oops), GPA, pre-req courses (lol)
Has anyone heard back from SHA?
I was accepted to SHA yesterday morning! I got an email around 10 am.
Congratulations @cassat !
Still nothing from CALS for me. Anyone else applying to CALS not heard back yet?
I still haven’t heard back from CAS. This wait is like purgatory lol
Same, I have not heard back from CAS and was unable to locate my pin either. Is it possible because I am a junior transfer?
@JaneZoo I am a junior transfer too!
Same here! I’ve applied to CAS and I’m still waiting.
Still waiting on CALS AEM
