@badooki Yeah, it is interesting. Might have something to do with articulation agreements. Information Science is a burgeoning field though, so maybe they’re just taking more students? Whatever the case, congrats, and I’ll see you next fall 
Hi I’m a transfer student from Malaysia, and I applied to Cornell a few months ago. On my application summary page it says that they haven’t received my College transcripts. I emailed them stating that the package has already been received and signed for: also they said they received the other documents which were in the same package as my transcript. So now I’m super lost & I emailed them and they keep sending me the same email stating not to send them another copy because they receive hundreds of documents. And when i called they said they aren’t accepting calls for transfer students.
So now I’m lost because I haven’t gotten rejected or received a PIN… what is happening D:
@aishyvimal4 I wouldn’t be worried that you have not received a PIN yet. Most people seem to be receiving them rather late. However, Cornell not receiving your transcripts seems to be an issue, I would try to some how get in touch with admissions as quick as possible. Try finding the email address of the admissions director or something.
Seems like yesterday was a huge acceptance day. Congratulations to everyone that got in.
Sorry for the late post! I was accepted yesterday for Bioengineering, but although I’m a rising junior they accepted me as a first semester sophomore based on the credits that would transfer. I’m not too jazzed about that, so I will likely turn down my acceptance.

Some questions about transferring:
- So for some schools there's 2 semester options, fall and spring. Why might someone apply to spring instead of fall?
- How hard is it to transfer? I know this has been asked a lot but I want the most up to date info. Which school accepts the most transfers? What are the acceptance rates?
- How much are high school GPA and SAT scores factored in?
- Can you try again for spring transfer if you're rejected from fall?

Okay, so Ive been getting a couple of messages about the Facebook group. All the Guaranteed transfers/conditional transfers already have a Facebook group and we’re all sophomore transfers. But I created another fb group for all the Fall 2015 transfers.

Okay. But are you sure your letter said A’s and B’s specifically or did they say something else? If they said that they expected me to complete my remaining courses with a satisfactory level and i did worse than that will they pull admission? chances?
Anyone still not have neither a pin nor a decision? Cornell is my last school and I’ve heard literally nothing from them.
Does anyone know when Cornell sends out the Financial Aid packages?
I spoke with someone yesterday, and she told me anywhere from 1-2 weeks after your official acceptance. She said they come out on Wednesdays.
@collegeouzo My letter specifically said A’s and B’s, but I’m not sure if this applies to everyone. I think your best bet is to just give them a call and explain your situation. I’m sure they’ll try to help you out! Sorry, wish I could offer more help.
