I am pretty resolved to do Cornell ED. I have a two grandparent alums. My supervisor for a research project at Pennstate Behrend is the professor of physics is also an undergrad alum from Cornell. Can I use him to my advantage somehow?

You could get a recommendation from him, I suppose, if you have a good relationship, and the fact that he’s a Cornell alum might fit in that somehow. But it wouldn’t be a legacy-like advantage. But you’re a legacy anyway.
