Cornell and S.A.T. II's...question

Hi,

Are the S.A.T. II tests required for ADMISSION to Cornell, or are they used as information for placement in courses? My son is scheduled to take the S.A.T. II’s on Dec. 4. I am assuming the scores would be available in time for consideration for R.D. at Cornell. Am I right? ~berurah

According to the Common Data Set, you have until February to take SATIIs for RD.

I really appreciate your quick reply, towerpumpkin! ~berurah

Tower, what the heck is the Common Data Set?! Thanks

I only found out about it a few days ago. Apparently, its the form that schools fill out to compare various data of each school. It, along with a short description of it, can be found here: http://dpb.cornell.edu/irp/cds.htm
