Thank you for your interest in Biomedical Engineering at Cornell."

how quick of them… Is it normal?

I got the exact same letter about a week ago, and haven’t heard anything from them yet - haven’t a lot of people gotten in already?

Exactly, that’s why I am wondering why they even bother. Or maybe they have a rolling-basis admission as some of the schools do?

I remember Columbia, HST and Northwestern sending invites in multiple rounds, basing on grad cafe results search and communication with the departments.

fenguin, when did you submit your application to cornell?

I applied on 11/30.

Thats a couple weeks before me. It would make sense they came to it earlier.

I got this in Jan. I wonder why they sent it so late. When I spoke with them they said there were some problems with the online system, maybe that’s the reason for the delay.

I was told they have “serious issues with embark system and as a results parts of my applications might have been lost”.
