<p>The cornell book award is given to a specific number (not many) of high juniors who have excelled in extracurriculars as well as academics (i think in the sciences in particular), the award is given by the cornell alumni association of the area.
(I also recieved this award and would like to know if it would help my chances of acceptance ED)</p>
