Cornell CALS ED or Regular Decision

I have been struggling to decide if I want to ED or apply Regular for Cornell CALS. I have a weighted gpa of around a 100 and have taken two acts (one I got a 23 on – yikes, and I am awaiting my next score – projected 29). I am not worried about bringing up my act score by June or the September Act. My main concern is if i apply regular decision will my chances be much lower to get in or not. I also am very close to someone on the board at Cornell, or something ( i forgot her actual title). I also don’t want other colleges to disregard my application when i apply ED. Will it look bad if I pulled out of ED to other colleges? My last concern is that I wouldn’t be able to be apart of the Theatre program of Cornell vs. other schools, and Cornell’s Choirs. Because as a CALS major, I think you have to pick a CALS minor, I think. Thanks
