Applying EA

First off, cornell is ED. Second, the scores are a bit low for cornell, and your class rank is not going to help you. The rest seems unique, but there’s no real direction (everything from acting to participating in pageants to computer languages). I would say reach.

It is a reach. If you can raise your scores to 2200 plus or 1400 plus CR& math, you may be in the “range”. Your class rank is also problematic as most students admitted are in the top 10%. Your EC’s are good and going ED would be a plus.
Good luck.

Ok if you can get your SAT up I think you have a solid app, your ECs really bring it home. I wouldn’t really consider your “under-average” academic stats a limiting factor. For one thing, your current stats would NOT bar you from getting in. Your best shot right now is that SAT score improvement. What school are you applying to?

Thanks for the advice everyone! Yes, my SAT math score is really inaccurate. I ended up leaving about 3 pages omitted because my proctor messed up the time. I should definitely be able to correct that this October.

I’m applying to the College of Arts and Sciences.

I think thats a good choice for you considering your EC diversity. I would say you have a good chance. Best of luck. Side note, I will be applying to Human Ecology ED this fall as well so hope to see you there!
