You sound like a competitive candidate for Cornell CAS, stats-wise. Your courseload seems very challenging, and your GPA is that much more impressive because of it. Your ACT is a tad low, but since you have near perfect scores in the language-based sections, it shouldn’t be a problem.
It’s good to have EC’s in writing and other clubs, but they might not stand out much. Have you won any awards/distinctions in writing, or have you had anything published? That kind of stuff would send stellar signals to admissions.
Overall, you definitely have a good chance. Additionally, the fact that you are a minority and from an underrepresented state on campus (unless you’re from Texas) will help you in the final stages. If your essays and rec letters are as good as you say, your application should be of top quality. But keep in mind that there are thousands of other applicants with apps just as impressive. For all Ivies, admissions is ultimately based on luck.

So good luck! :-bd

Thx for the thoughtful response <3

You definitely have a solid chance of getting in. The strongest part of your application is probably your GPA/AP classes. If your essays are as fire as you say they are, I will be surprised if you don’t get deferred and then accepted or accepted right off the bat. Then again, admissions is such a game, so you really never know.
The fact that you’re from the Southwest (well, if you’re from an state like NM) will benefit you, and minority status will help too. Your ECs don’t particularly stand out, but you show that you have leadership and are passionate about different activities; they definitely wouldn’t drag you down in the admissions process. Good luck!! I hope we both get in

update: 740 on sat II literature, 33 ACT

new chances?

The new scores will definitely help but won’t make or break you. I know a girl that got into hopkins with a 1330, her essay was basically a 15/10 and every recommendation as tailored to her success, that’s what really matters when admissions is selecting who to throw out and who to keep.
