Hello everyone. Same thing, been looking at this thread since I applied and just now decided to leave a comment because I have something to say. A lot of people seem nervous, stressed, and undoubtedly insecure whether Cornell will admit them or not. As I progressed through high school, I discovered something special- this notion of self understanding. For some reason, I am able to judge myself and properly lay my expectations in front on me, in other words, I have a gut feeling whether I deserve something or not. If you notice a central feeling within yourself that makes you say, “damn, Cornell wants someone like me,” then most likely, you are correct. Believe in your abilities and believe in yourself. Don’t panic, because regardless of what happens, you have a destiny that lies ahead of you. Follow that path with confidence and never ever doubt your gut feeling. You all got this. And for anyone wondering, I am applying into the College of Engineering.
@AEMHopeful2020 Hi, I also applied to AEM. Based on last years results, they took 133 people but only 92 enrolled. It’s annoying because this includes athletes and they take up a good portion of the class.

does anyone think attending Cornell’s summer college would be helpful? and getting a rec from one of the professors?
@larrythelobster OMG FINALLY SOMEONE AND OMG ME TOO SAME MAJOR, sigh every post I’ve seen for cals nutrition science has been rejected or deferred and they all had great stats

sooo after stalking this thing for like 2 weeks i’m finally giving into the pressure and joining, I feel like this thread is the only way I’m not going to go completely crazy while waiting it out this week. I applied as an Environmental Science/Sustainability major in CALS, anyone else?
