Cornell Class of 2020 Early Decision Discussion

down with cas !

Is anyone from long island??

I just want this thread to have more views than the UPenn thread : ( We’re better

@CCSenioritis , you’re a life saver.

@Tryharding Ah, have fun and enjoy yourself (haha tried to refrain from saying break a leg)! free your mind of anything Cornell related so you don’t get distracted. must be really nerve-wracking, kudos to you. Hope you get good outcomes in both, tho :slight_smile:

@rebellax7
haha
My bus goes down the beltway every morning
Too many bad drivers and soon I’ll be contributing to it

@Mminjjae Lol no problem. I literally know the lady who picks up the calls at admissions on a first name basis xD

Lol, I’m with @going4it -just created an account after looking through this thread! I’m applying to CALS for Animal Science :slight_smile: Good luck guys!!!

One of the main reasons I applied to Cornell ED is my professor. My professor got his chemistry degree at Cornell, and he said he liked everything at Cornell.
Other reason is its music program. I’m a musician, and I’ve heard some Cornell students are allowed to attend music lectures and take lessons at Ithaca College, which has a fabulous music program.
And finally, its engineering is top tier.

I’d definitely love to attend Cornell. :wink:

I think I’m not going to go to school. I won’t be able to handle telling people about my rejection on Friday without bursting into tears and feeling embarrassed.

@NICE8x i feel you. if i get rejected i’ll probably not go to school friday as well and rest that weekend before facing the real world again

The 10th is right in the middle of my hannukah break. One of the few benefits of being Jewish :slight_smile:
(international, btw)

@PhunguSAE lucky you! happy hannukah and hope you get the wonderful gift of becoming a cornellian this hannukah :slight_smile:

Tried to see for myself if anyone else here is applying AnSci but gave up after getting to page like 20 then going backwards from 84 xD Any fellow AnSci-ers here? :slight_smile: (If so, best wishes to you!)

At 2pm on dec 10th i’m going to excuse myself from class, go to the bathroom, check my email, cry, and go back to class pretending like nothing happened

you dont have to submit tax forms until next calendar year because the taxes for 2015 are processed in early 2016

^^ same tbh. To that point, what’s the process for receiving your decision? Does Cornell email you the decision? Email telling you to check the website for your decision? Then you’d receive a letter a few days afterwards?

@streamfeather I think that’s what happens?

I’ll have to go to school no matter what because I go to a boarding school hahahaha. #sometimesitsucks

I have post-rejection timetable already laid out :stuck_out_tongue:

I will make one of those hitler subtitles videos (if you have seen any, you would know) in which this time he gets rejected from Cornell and post that to my friends instead of telling directly.

Then I am going to lie down in a corner for exactly 1423 seconds, try not to cry for the first 23 seconds and then finally cry.

After this, I have to wallow in self pity for the next 2 days. Very important. Can’t miss this one.

Then start planning for how I am going to a community college.
