Cornell Class of 2028 Official Thread

I haven’t, how do you do it :sob:

Does the moderator need to do it, can’t a user just start one? Seems like a good solution to me.

go into student center and click on search under academics - change your semester year and choose a subject then press search. Pretty cool how you can see the options.

I just checked my fin aid portal and saw that I had a new request on my to do list. CC won’t let me add a screenshot of the page but it basically says "to do item: parent IRS business schedule / due date: 01/01/2099 / status: notified. I was surprised because I had received an email from Cornell last month to finish the remaining items on my to do list and had done it so there was nothing left on my to do list. This request feels kind of weird bc I wasn’t notified via email as the status suggests, and also the due date is 2099 which feels fake.

Does anyone else have this? Should I email fin aid again? Does this indicate anything?

I can no longer access my student center. going on to the todo list page, clicking three dots and then my preferences, and then clicking the three dots and home no longer work for me. my only options when I click the three dots on the my preferences page are now “help”, “sign out”, and “new window”

Definitely email for sure just in case.

what does the new window bring you to?

a copy of the current window💀

oh lol

Update: just got the email from Cornell fin aid. Still unsure on how to proceed, though. Any advice anyone?

I would upload document to Idoc, and you can email aid dept if you want. Not needed I feel.

Right, they haven’t posted anything about it. But we could ask in that community if someone knows when is the admitted students day. I tried to ask my sister because my nephew is going, and she is not involved with it. Maybe I will text my nephew. They live in England, so they aren’t planning on going to the admitted students day.

i can see the page, but i wasn’t asked to log in or anything. the registrations don’t work though

Just pointing out that everyone had the same exact situation as us with the FA portal last year, and it was predictive of nothing. People who had inquiry access denied got likely letters. We all need to just calm down.

Does anyone here not have cornell on IDOC? I am afraid I could have messed up again like I did with another college.

I don’t have Cornell on IDOC

I have Cornell on IDOC. Yes. Cornell requested additional financial information from us through IDOC several months ago.
