Cornell has two or three programs to release admission decision in Feb that is always the case. Nolan school is one of them.

Theoretically every school does it.

Oh, I didn’t know. I haven’t really seen any brooks likely letters ever and it’s also a new school which adds to that mystery.

Did any deferred Nolan students get a likely/early acceptance? Anxiously waiting here. March is a l-o-n-g month. :pray:

Do you mean via the portal or is it a likely? Did you get an email asking you check the portal?

@MomofDS She got an email to check her portal. And the acceptance was there. It was not a likely letter. There was music playing and the letter said “Congratulations. You have been admitted to the Cornell SC Johnson College of Busienss- Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel administration”

Has Cornell sent out likely letters? Did/Will they arrive in the mail, as emails, or as updates in the portal?

If you read the posts above, you’ll see that an email was sent to the student directing them to check their portal. The email itself does not include an admittance.

Understood that was about an admission decision waiting in the portal as an update. My question was about how and when they handled (or would handle) the likely letters.

Still curious which other school besides Nolan send acceptances this early? We applied for the (B. Arch) Architecture program.

Only the Hotel School and ILR, although I haven’t heard of any ILR students this year. I have no idea why but this is what the website says,

“On a common date, usually in late March, applicants to Ivy League institutions will be notified of admission decisions and financial aid awards. (Letters are mailed beginning in February for the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration and the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations, and beginning in February for the School of Nursing at Penn.)”
