It doesn’t make logical sense for these to be evaluative if they can’t offer them to every applicant they’re seriously considering. There are not enough CAAAN people to do that.
Interviews are not used for acceptance. My daughter had an interview on February 27 and got her acceptance two days later on February 29. There’s no way it was used to hero them decide. They had to have already evaluated her application when she had her interview.
It may be used for “demonstrated interest”-like purposes. If you don’t want to go their interview, what are the chances you will go their school, and they may deny you because of yield reasons.
Right, but they’ll still take into account stuff like if you have shown up to interviews to compare you with other applicants that are similar to you, because they care about their yield.
Hi - Just joined this thread (i applied to ILR)I keep getting summer session pre college class application invite emails. And back in February their fin. office emailed telling me that they saw that I was interested in financial aid and that I only had 2 days left (which I submitted thank god just in time). And CSS sent me an email from Cornell to complete my IDOC as well. Did you all get that too?
For the Financial aid documents that had to be sent through IDOC. When you check on the financial aid status - it says to do list and mine says processing.
