Can someone also look on 2028 forums and see if parameter error people got in

Don’t forget to come back here after decisions out and see if we’re correct with this astrology thing here. I got in to all UC’s with Regents at 3 of them, Carnegie Mellon, and Harvey Mudd so far. According to here, I’ll be waitlisted at Cornell since I got the no current to do. Hmmm no FA for me so nothing to do really…

Yup, def should report back. Just fyi my friend who got into UCLA for CompE shows ā€œno to do items foundā€. Ill edit if this is wrong cause Im not sure.

I got Berkeley early with regents, UCLA, all UCs (except uc davis lolll), Georgetown, USC, if that gives context. I have the parameter error

What do u see on ur student center??

I didn’t apply for FA and have " To Do List Summary

No current to do item information found."

does that mean anything? where do u see parameter error?

I didn’t apply for FA and I have
No current to do item information found.
Does this mean WL

I feel like this financial aid thing is just indicative of whether or not the financial aid office has decided on a financial aid package or something, cause the admissions and financial aid offices work independently, so I don’t get how they would know who is accepted and change the status accordingly.

Click on the to do link. It’s a link for me and I see the error

But then why are there 3 status. Shouldn’t it be 2 - decided vs not decided. Idts

Want to know this too. Is it a conclusion on WL (for those who didn’t apply FA)?

Idk, financial aid office shenanigans. Maybe they haven’t started or something? IDK. But it would be weird if the financial aid office knew your decisions.

This is all speculation… made up by fellow applicants… taking it with a grain of salt

There are so many outcomes and variations that could depend on several factors such as international vs domestic, applied for aid vs didn’t apply for aid, etc

It is difficult to come to a set conclusion based on this alone

ED admit here: we already have our financial aid package so it lists that. I think it said no items to do before that. But we did have one extra piece of financial info they needed from us and asked for it a few days before ED. They assured us FA and admissions were separate but we got an acceptance so I don’t know!

hmm my to do list isn’t a link

also isn’t financial aid office separate from admissions?

I think it is just because they haven’t received anything so they can’t process anything. They probably assume you might not actually want to apply for ai

Mine isn’t a link either

Heres what I’ve gathered from past fourms:

ā€œno to do itemsā€ in 2028 usally correlated with an acceptance under the circumstance that they applied for aid. In other words, those who did not apply for aid, domestic or int got the same message as those who did and recieved their package. This message is likely an indicator that the financial aid package has been completed, as I only recieved it when I submitted my final idoc requests (after getting an email)

Anyone showing processing documents in past years had mixed results. I believe this is when the finaid department has yet to make your package, hence it’s still processing. So not entirely a rejection or acceptance.

And finally, the ā€œno faā€ message is new this time around. I’d imagine it’s likely an indicator that one, you applied for aid, got rejected, and your package was dissolved, or two, that you never applied for aid in the first place.

In all three cases, reddit, discord, CC, real life, I’ve been able to somwhat verify these predictions. With that said, nothing is definite. The only exception I’ve seen was a case in 2015 when someoe who got the ā€œno current to doā€ message got rejected, though they were a domestic who never applied for aid. Hence, going forward, I’d appreciate it if anyone who did apply for aid and got the ā€œno faā€ message step forward.
