for the record: i applied to cornell, unknowingly not meeting a specific A&S foreign language requirement (I only had 2 years when 3 years is REQUIRED) and I have processing for my documents… I know I 100% got rejected so it might add to the theory that processing could be rejection

Wait so is parameter with to do processing?? Or no . The guy w the same error as me last yr got waitlisted. Which makes sense bc my Cornell essays werent the best

What is the portal astro again ? Where do we have to check?

Damn, I have processing as well. Guess that’s probably rejection which sucks because all my other top schools have been unaffordable lol

ALL Predictions: use this doc

case 1, reject, case 2, waitlist, case 3, accepted

where do we check for the “parameter” message? I can check and see if I have it

again this is all speculation

if your table is blank with no go button, it’s the parameter one

Yes I agree. I dont think I would get flat rejected, to be honest (At least that’s what my counselor said), but my essays were not good enough to be accepted as I spent more time on other ivies and rushed this one. So I predict parameter is waitlist. Matches up with how few people have it (Cornell doesn’t waitlist a lot of people), and 2 people now from last year (the only 2 people with the error) both got WL in 2028.

I have an empty table. What does it mean ? and what parametre message do i have to check for and how? Sorry to ask again

That’s accept probably.

Huh? An empty table is accept? what?

That’s what we THINK. It’s all astro. Dont take it 100% srs

Yea i get that part (as to why it maynt be accurate)… But how did you conclude that an empty table meant accepted?

From 2028 trends. Processing means rejection bc SO many people have it. my ed reject friend had processing. I have parameter and i think i got WL. Therefore the other one is Accept

can you send link please

I promise that it’s not a rejection. My kid (class of 28) had “processing” since Feb 2024. She was waitlisted and then offered a transfer option. We expect to drop her off in Ithaca at the end of August.

All will be revealed on Thursday.

Do you mean this is a wl or accept?
