My supplemental essay was so bad. But my why uchicago was really good lol, I took an abstract approach. I hoped that would pull me through but I guess not, they prob care a lot about the supplemental

Would you guys go to UChicago over Cornell? Cornell’s an ivy so I’m debating if i get off WL and get in

hands down, no questions asked. I was unable to work on my app because of a family emergency (travel abroad no internet) and so a lot of my apps were half- can’t say that here. Anyways, as you can imagine, I was quite surprised when my 6-hour app fill of the UCs got me in, esp. with a 3.83 UW GPA

Lol nobody knows UChicago here. I told my classmate I got WL, and he said oh is that a state school? Why do you care, LOL.

I don’t know if this means anything but we had the same situation with additional K-1 info needed, same checking with the nice FA lady, and my DS got in ED to Cornell that week! Hopefully you’ll have good luck too!
