This is the official discussion thread for Cornell Class of 2030 RD applicants. Ask your questions and connect with fellow applicants.
Has anyone gotten an IDOC request? I got one a few days ago and my financial aid to-do list on the applicant portal has completely disappeared so I can’t see what documents they requested. Hoping it’s a positive sign for RD! I applied for human ecology.
We also received the request for tax forms. If you ask for financial aid, they will request these, so I’m not sure you can read into it.
Does anyone know if Nolan SHA still informs some students of admit status in late Feb? I couldn’t find any info about this on the website for Cornell Admissions. Is transfer option still a thing and can it be given right away in Feb/March or is it usually only after waitlist?
While no one knows for sure what they’ll do this year, there is typically a small number of SHA admits in late Feb or early March. In past years, transfer option has been given to some with their initial decision on Ivy Day. I don’t think TO would be offered with the earlier timeline.
Is anyone able to see anything when they go to this Cornell peoplesoft link? What do people see when they go to Student Center under Contact Information?
If that doesn’t work, try logging into the financial aid portal, click on the three dots, go to my preferences, click on the three dots again, and click home.
What password do we use for this
hii
what do you see? I see my address only
Well, since all we have is a to-do list and no home option assuming this is another rejection.
It seems like the home button only appears for me on mobile after clicking on the three dots to get to “My Preferences”
Did you do that?
Also, my financial aid status changed to “inquiry access denied” a day or two ago. What does this mean according to previous years?
Me too. I went through a few tabs and found an ID, but am not sure if that corresponds to anything
Yep that works. Not much in there and nothing is populated. Just a blank ToDo list. What do you see?
Same thing I believe, what do you mean about the to do list?
On the main financial aid portal page, there is a to-do list that is blank. Try “home”
If specifically under Contact Information, I only have Home filled in. The rest is None.
However, I am able to see a lot of things when I click the other hyperlinks. Like, how they have my actual ethnicities encoded in, a 7-digit ID number (which may or may not be a Cornell student ID), as well as Alien Temporary United States encoded (which I do not currently have. May or may not be a good sign?).
Is this under the financial aid portal or admissions?
